HTC Sync Update Version 2.0.8 for Magic, Tattoo and Hero

Those of you who are Windows Mobile users have Windows Mobile Device Center or ActiveSync to sync Windows phones with Outlook straight from the box and Android users have support over the air (OTA) cloud-sync to Google Calendar and Contacts, and now HTC has developed its very own sync.

The new HTC Sync will now allow HTC Magic, HTC Tattoo and HTC Hero users the ability to synchronize their devices with Outlook as well thanks to the newly released version 2.0.8. This new release update comes with a few improved functions and will provide better connectivity between your HTC Phone and PC.

HTC has now added the benefits of media enhancements which will basically sync your contacts pictures with its contact information; you will also be able to sync your device’s time with your Computer’s time and obviously vice versa.

All you need to do is connect your HTC Android smartphone with your PC via mini USB cable or micro USB cable and then you will see the HTC Sync display your model name and then it will start to sync your information. For more information please visit the::unwired

The opening paragraph makes it sound like HTC Sync is a brand new invention when it’s been around for a while now.

Bifter, I don’t use XP but on Vista I had to reboot BOTH the phone and the computer after installation in order for the software to acknowledge the existence of the phone.
