Looks like old Sammy is getting in on the luxury handset game with the announcement of the Samsung i8910 HD otherwise known as the Samsung Omnia HD packing a touch of 24 karat gold and is the Samsung i8910 HD Gold Edition reports an article on newswire.

The Samsung i8910 HD Gold Edition specs are still the same ass the original smartphone but will be available in two colour variants, Champagne Gold and Luxury Brown both sporting that 24 karat Gold around its AMOLED display.

The Samsung i8910 HD Gold Edition also comes with a leather case and accessories which include a TV-out cable and cradle just to give you a bit extra for your layout no doubt.

Apparently the Samsung i8910 HD Gold Edition becomes available this month so in time for a luxury Christmas present in selected markets which include Germany, the Middle East and Singapore, no word on just how much this Gold edition will set you back though.
