As I’m sure that most of you are fully aware, it wasn’t that long ago that LG jumped on the Android bandwagon. Their first smartphone which runs on Google’s free mobile OS is the LG GW620 otherwise known as Eve.

The Eve is supposed to make social networking even more friendlier than anything else that is already out there and available in Canada. Now we here that there is a second phone which apparently is running Android.

The second handset, running Android is called the LG GW880 Amundsen. But sadly this LG Android base phone is currently only available to China Mobile subscribers. So what’s available in the US from LG that has Android ? Well not a lot, actually nothing officially so far.

But of course we live in hope, according to TelecomsKorea there has been a research note from Prudential that talks about LG Electronics seeking an opportunity with T-Mobile USA in North America to sell LG Android smartphones. Neither LG nor T-Mobile are saying anything on this rumor for now anyway. Source – androidcommunity.com
