Word has it that the software problems experienced with the Sony Ericsson Satio smartphone have now been rectified thanks to a firmware update from Sony Ericsson, and said firmware update is R1CA037 according to an article over on gsmarena.

Apparently sources from the Carphone Warehouse have said they have already restocked a new batch of Sony Ericsson Satio handsets which will be ready to go on sale as of right now.

On contacting Sony Ericsson their official response was that they are now ready with a new software update for the Sony Ericsson Satio and once they have managed to upload all the required files and scripts online they will publicly announce it.

This may take a bit of time as there are several operator specific versions of said firmware, but it does appear that those Satio issues are or will be a thing of the past.
