Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 with WiFi Release Date

Well, what’s this then? News of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 bringing Wi-Fi to Sprint on January 10th 2010, the BlackBerry Curve 8530 has already launched on Verizon.

As the Wi-Fi toting update to the already capable Blackberry Curve has yet to land on Sprint, the last we had heard about this was that the launch would be around December 18th, but more recent information leads us to believe it will be launched January 10th.

The Curve 8530 will feature most of the same specs of the 8520 but will have the fantastic addition of Wi-Fi and BlackBerry 5.0 OS. According to a source, the Curve 8530 which is already in Sprint’s device launch calendar will launch in advance.

It seems it will launch four weeks in advance, it this is true then we will have to wait until next year to put our hands on the updated Curve from Sprint. Hopefully we will have more information over the next couple of weeks for you. For more information please visit intomobile.com

so why does my curve tell me I am connected to wi-fi service, and it won't let me do anything. Is this a sprint thing or my phone. My phone service was suspended, but I shoul still be able to connect to the internet with sprint. the same is true for my son's phone which is the same.
