Australia and New Zealand gain BlackBerry App World

Research In Motion’s BlackBerry App World has been out for quite some time now, but those BlackBerry users over in Australia and New Zealand have been kept patiently waiting for BlackBerry App World to arrive.

Well now according to an article over on Crackberry, BlackBerry App World has finally arrived in Australia and New Zealand, and those folk can now download and install BlackBerry App World to their BlackBerry handsets.

And of course this means that once installed the Australians and New Zealanders will be able to use all the applications; content is based around free apps at the moment but more will apparently be loaded as soon as possible so they gain the same as other countries.

So although it may be somewhat on the late side, BlackBerry App World has taken another step towards becoming a global offering from Research In Motion.
