Yep, a couple of Samsung handsets are set to receive an update from Samsung, the first is the Samsung Omnia HD which apparently will gain kinetic scrolling, but other than that no word on what else the update may deliver, but no doubt will include some bug fixes and maybe a few applications.

The guys over at the samsunghub also reveal that the Samsung Moment will receive an update to none other than Android 2.1 Flan rather than Android 2.0.1 which was previously thought.

Word is although Samsung is keeping the feature under wraps the updates are expected to hit in the first half of next year, so as soon as we hear more will pass it along.

Apparently both the update to the Samsung Omnia HD and Samsung Moment have been confirmed via the official Samsung Facebook fan page.
