Lotus Elite from LG with touchscreen

Under: LG
Date: January 7th, 2010

LG has kicked off on the first day of CES 2010 with the LG Lotus Elite being introduced a successor to the very fashionable LG Lotus messaging phone which was almost two years ago.

LG has kept the same square flip phone look from the first Lotus, but the Lotus lite is a much nicer, sleeker device with nice smooth curves and the added addition of the external touchscreen.

The Lotus Elite has two 2.4 inch QVGA displays one on the inside and another on the outside. The one on the outside allows you to view and access your emails, texts, pictures music and voicemail without having to open up the phone.

On the inside there is a QWERTY keyboard and dedicated shortcut keys for social networking, e-mail and text. The LG Lotus Elite has Sprint’s One Click interface that allows fast access to various functions on the phone and shortcuts to social networking tools like Facebook. The Elite will be available for $99.99 after a two year contract and a $50 mail in rebate from January 10th. Source – ces.net.com
