Apparently the European version of the Motorola Droid, the Milestone is going to see a couple of updates quite soon as engadget reports that the Motorola Facebook page has announced that Android 2.1 and Android 2.0.1 are both on their way to the Milestone.

The announcement says that Android 2.0.1 is “on its way” to the Motorola Milestone and to watch the Motorola Facebook page for further details and then states that Android 2.1 will also follow in a timeframe of “a couple of weeks.”

So once Android 2.1 hits the Motorola Milestone it will be on the same OS par with the recently released Google Nexus One.

And it seems Motorola is taking care of all their European options as well as they also state that the Motorola Dext will at some stage gain Android 2.1 but as yet they do not have a timeframe available.
