Great news for Nokia fans out there as the Nokia N86 8MP is the latest smartphone to be blessed with a firmware update.

This takes the 8 MP snapper from version 20.115 and with just a small amount of maintenance bumps along the way. The Nokia N86 8MP is a super smartphone and a great handset for those of you that just really don’t want a touchscreen fro whatever reason.

It would seem to have started to get a small firmware update to version 21.006, the update weighs in at around 700KB and is apparently available over the air as well as through the Nokia Software updater.

Not everyone has had theirs yet but for those that have it would appear that there is some discussion as to what the update actually entails. The update speeds up the phone and it does seem a little more responsive. And the 8MP camera is snappier than before. Source – noknok.tv
