UK to gain Sony Ericsson Kurara in April

Sony Ericsson hasn’t had a particularly good time with the UK recently, with the problems over the Sony Ericsson Satio, Sony Ericsson Aino, and then Vodafone dumping the constantly delayed Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2.

However, according to an article over on techradar, Sony Ericsson will debut their sequel to the Sony Ericsson Satio, the Kurara in the United Kingdom sometime in April, and the word is according to sources the Sony Ericsson Kurara will hold a firm focus on HD video.

The Sony Ericsson Kurara takes a step down from the Satio’s 12 megapixel camera and offers a more modest 8 megapixel camera with HD recording capability and will sport a 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen and run Symbian S60.

Apparently there is also another snippet of rumour news in the form a QWERTY keyboard packing version of the Karura, and will be known as the Sony Ericsson Kanna. Let’s hope the Kurara fairs better that the XPERIA X2 in the UK.
