iPhone Devs Donate App Revenue to Help Haiti

The mobile world looks to be stepping up to the mark with the disaster in Haiti; we just posted that T-Mobile is aiding in the Haiti disaster and now according to an article over on mashable, Mac and iPhone developers are offering aid.

These Mac and iPhone developers are banding together to donate their iPhone application revenue to the Haiti relief fund, and idea thought of by iPhone developer Justine Williams.

Williams tweeted the idea and wrote a blog post and other developers have jumped aboard, and within twelve hours 25 iPhone developers have now joined the cause whereby they will either donate a day’s revenue for all apps or part of their apps, and the project now has a name, Indie+Relief.

It just goes to show that charity isn’t dead and that although money rules in most things, when it comes to helping others in need some step to the forefront. If there are any iPhone developers or come to that matter, any developer who would like to help out you can contact William via here.
