Sony Ericsson Kurara gets renamed Vivaz

I don’t know, you just get used to calling a smartphone one thing and the makers go and change the name on you, which seems to be the norm these days. According to an article over on phone arena, what we once referred to as the Sony Ericsson Kurara is now to be officially known as the Sony Ericsson Vivaz.

And apparently Sony Ericsson has outed some official info on the Sony Ericsson Kurara come Vivaz which is the Sony Ericsson Vivaz will sport Symbian S60 has the same design as the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, a 3.2 inch WVGA touch screen, and an 8 megapixel camera.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz will also pack HD video recording which can then be uploaded directly to such places as Picasa and YouTube. The camera also packs several features such as geo-tagging, image stabilisation, smile recognition, and continuous auto-focussing.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is schedueled for release in Q1 in select markets, will be available in Venus Ruby, Galaxy Blue, Silver Moon and Cosmic Black flavours, but no official pricing has been announced.
