Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 on way to O2 UK

Sony Ericsson’s latest XPERIA smartphone may soon be offered by O2 in the UK as apparently dues to a mistake on the O2 website, the accessories page showed accessories for the Sony Ericsson XPETIA X10 reports an article over on cool smartphone.

Apparently according to an update on cool smartphone an O2 rep contacted them and thanked them for binging it to their attention and said that currently O2 hasn’t announced any involvement with the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.

Well I would say maybe O2 should now announce their involvement with the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 as I’m sure their web team wouldn’t simply put up a smartphone that O2 isn’t going to offer and offer soon.

Last I checked, the option to select the XPERIA X10 had been removed as that is what the O2 rep said would happen, but it doesn’t cover up the fact that it was there so could well mean the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is on its way to O2 UK.

o2 really annoy me! I have been with them for about 5 years now, but they never know anything about upcoming handsets. If you go onto a website like Carphonewarehouse or mobiles.co.uk (actually owned by CPW) they have LOADS of coming soon phones!!!
    but go onto this: http://shop.o2.co.uk/Coming_Soon_Phones

and they have 2 phones that are coming out November 2008! Pathetic!

I will be moving to Vodafone and get the X10 or Nexus one as soon as either one is out.

Really wish o2 would get with the times and get some decent handsets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Orange told me 1st Feb…thats today…and no news!

I can only assume Sony have problems with the phone which puts me off. If there have been so many public tests and over 6 months since the phone was announced, surely they could confirm a date if there weren’t any problems.
