As we all know HTC have been working on tablets running on Android and Chrome OS but they have just recently announced they will be left on the shelf for now.

Instead they want to concentrate their focus on Android Smartphones. Why? Probably just the fact that the company doesn’t see the ROI and Android or Chrome OS tablet can deliver.

Apple on the other hand are about to announce their iSlate, iPad, or whatever it become known as later this week. Maybe HTC are taking a step back with a wait and see what happens attitude.
