iPhone, iSlate, iPhone OS 4.0, Verizon iPhone, Will Apple Surprise?

Only a couple of days to go before the much anticipated Apple event on the 27th of January, and since Apple first made it known the event was to take place and has issued invites with the words ‘come see our latest creation,’ the internet has gone potty with speculations.

We’ve all read them, Apple is to announced the next generation iPhone, the so called iPhone 4G, Apple is to announce the new iPhone operating system, iPhone OS 4.0, Apple is to announce the much hyped iTable/iSlate.

Other speculation is that Apple will announce an end of AT&T’s exclusivity over the iPhone and follow up with an announcement that a CDMA version of the iPhone will go with Verizon Wireless. Another is that Verizon will get both the new iPhone and the iSlate.

But, Apple is known for being tight-lipped over their plans, and everything is basically based on snippets of info gleaned from here and there. But will Apple actually surprise everyone and announce that ‘latest creation’ which is something no one has any idea about, is it possible that Apple could have misled everyone and won’t announce any of the aforementioned rumoured Apple products?

It would sure be a surprise if the iSlate, iPhone 4G, and iPhone OS 4.0 doesn’t appear, and Apple actually has something else up their sleeves…one thing is for sure, we will all find out in a short while.
