It looks like Samsung may be turning a bit more serious where the Android platform is concerned; the original Samsung Galaxy was that much of a good looking handset, but it appears Sammy is rectifying that with a Samsung Galaxy 2.

According to an article over on androphones, what we have here is a render of what they believe is the Samsung Galaxy 2, which apparently packs some decent specifications.

Thos specs are rumoured to be a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen, Android 2.1 operating system, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, 3.5mm jack and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Although Sammy make their own system on chips so not sure why they would be sourcing from Qualcomm.

Anyway, the word is we can expect to see the Samsung Galaxy 2 hit release sometime in Q2, and it is expected Samsung will make an official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy 2 at MWC 2010.
