Google store to sell Motorola phone

Through Google’s new online store consumers will soon be able to get a new Android phone from Motorola much in the same way as customers can currently get hold of the Nexus One smartphone.

The companies chief Sanjay Jha has revealed this in an analyst call just this Thursday although the phone is still un named. This was announced following Motorola’s results were disclosed.

He said that “ in smartphone we plan to launch at least 20 devices which will include at least one direct to consumer device with Google”.

Having already launched several Android phone models over recent months which include the Droid or in Europe the Milestone which has proved to be very popular in the US. Of course as soon as we here more with regards to the un named device we will let you know. Source – community.znet.co.uk
