No One Will Use Flash in Future Says Steve Jobs

Adobe is upset that Apple continue to keep Flash off the iPhone and now also off the latest creation out of Apple, the iPad. It’s nothing new that Apple doesn’t like or want Adobe Flash on their products as this row has been going on for quite some time.

According to an article over on the boy genius report, the Apple CEO, apparently said that they are lazy and squandering so much potential. And according to Jobs, no one will be using Flash in future as it’s apparently all going to be about HTML5. Furthermore, he isn’t worried about Google’s Nexus One when Apple has 3 billion apps in their App Store.

So the slinging match starts. Many iPhone users have stated they would like to see Flash come to the iPhone, but it looks like that is never going to happen.

But is Jobs simply slinging the mud for mud’s sake or does he actually have a point? What do you think, should Apple relent and allow Adobe Flash to come to the iPhone and iPad? Drop us a comment below.

  1. Tom says:

Who cares if no one will use flash in the future people DO use flash now. How many people buy a mobile phone and actually plan to keep it for years? That like a car company saying they are not going to make cars which run on gas because no one will use gas in the future!
