Under: Mobile Phone Video News, Phone Software
Date: February 5th, 2010

As you probably know, the Symbian Foundation has finally made the Symbian platform completely open and free to use, we reported on this yesterday and you can read that article (here)

Well as Symbian is now fully open obviously the Symbian Foundation wants everyone to know about it and has thus created a video whereby they speak about their move to open source and can be viewed below.

The video last four and a half minutes and comes courtesy of the guys over at engadget and starts off with Chris stated that Symbian is arguably the most open, complete, and compelling platform the world has ever seen.

He states that the entire source code is now available for anyone to take, use and create a mobile device or anything they can imagine. So anything you can imagine, well let’s see what people can come up with in the future with Symbian shall we?
