Samsung has now announced their latest smartphone; the Samsung Monte which is a 3 inch touch screen smartphone with widescreen aspect ratio with Samsung TouchQiz 2.0 UI reports an article over on 3g.

The Samsung Monte also packs a 3.2 megapixel camera with smile shot, panorama shot modes and face detection and also features GPS with Google Latitude, built in widgets for Twitter and Bebo and social networking apps for MySpace and Facebook.

The Samsung Monte further includes the capability of multi-instant messaging to chat real time with family and friends and also includes WiFi, Outlook calendar, Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync.

Samsung is due to announce the expected launch date for the Samsung Monte during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week.
