Garmin-Asus announce nuvifone A50 Android Smartphone

The joint venture between Gamin and Asus has now unveiled their latest Android powers navigation centred smartphone, the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 which according to an article over on gsmarena packs some of the best location based software to date.

Spec wise the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 sports a 3.5 inch HVGA capacitive touch screen, 3G support, GPS, Bluetooth, accelerometer, a 3 megapixel camera with geo-tagging and auto-focus, 4GB internal memory and microSD expansion.

The Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 comes complete with full navigation license along with turn by turn voice guided navigation, runs on the Android operating system with integration with Google services and the Android Market, preinstalled maps and a digital compass.

Word has it the Garmin-Asus nuvifone will be shown during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, where if we are fortunate we will learn more about the nuvifone A50’s pricing and availability.
