Nokia’s success with Ovi services

Launched just recently in January this year, Ovi Maps has already had three million downloads so far. Nokia didn’t have any hardware to be talking about following the Intel and Nokia MeeGo announcement.

Having said that though it would seem that their service provisions are getting some truly amazing levels of interest. It has been reported that Nokia are going to be partnering with Indian Bank Yes in order to launch a commercial pilot for Nokia Money.

This move is said to be bringing a financial service to mobile handsets, the intention is to start this small and then roll out the service elsewhere. Nokia Maps is now available in 74 countries and 46 different languages.

Nokia state that people using the Comes With Music downloads 500 free songs in the first few weeks, which if downloaded from iTunes would cost around 450 Euros.
