HTC Bravo to turn HTC Desire for Verizon at MWC 2010

That’s the rumour anyway; that the Nexus One rival the HTC Bravo will actually gain a new name to the HTC Desire when it’s announced at Mobile World Congress 2010 according to an article over on android.modaco.

The word also is that when HTC announce the HTC Desire it will be heading for the Big Red network over in the States, although at this time it’s just rumour as nothing has been confirmed yet.

Spec wise the HTC Bravo/Desire is on par with the Google Nexus One albeit a couple of differences…3.7 inch AMOLED touch sensitive display, 1GHz processor, Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, 512MB ROM, 576MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, GPS, optical trackball, 3.5mm jack.

Size wise, the HTC Bravo/Desire measures 119 x 60 x 11.9mm with a weight of 135 grams. If the rumour that the HTC Bravo/Desire is going with Verizon are true then the Motorola Droid will have a serious rival to contend with.
