Roaming fees slashed by Orange for broadband in Europe

Great news for all Orange customers that frequently travel abroad as Orange has announced that they have slashed their daily roaming fees for those using its mobile broadband service in Europe.

From now customer choosing Orange’s new daily bundle can get a massive 2MB of data each day for just £2.
don’t panic if that’s not enough for you then you have the option of another daily roaming package that will give you 50MB of data each day for £8.50.

Orange claim that typically 2MB of data will allow you to view up to 100 web pages, or up to 20 images access to approx 100 emails and view thousands of Twitter messages. Customers shouldn’t be constrained by national boundaries or worried about their bills when abroad said Orange’s Olaf Swantee.

In order to avoid the sudden shock of an unwanted bill the operator will actually send messages via text to customers as they approach their 2MB daily limit. You will be given the option to purchase another 2MB’s of data and if not taken you will be charged Orange’s standard out of bundle roaming charge. Source – blog.broadbandinternetuk.com
