New Apple iPhone 4G May have lower price, better specs

Ah the speculation of the much sort after iPhone 4G continue to surface with the speculation that the next generation of the iconic iPhone will command a lower price tag and incorporate better specifications, and as usual the speculation is based on analysts mutterings.

According to an article over on iphone-scoop, Katy Hubert, an analyst for Morgan Stanley has stated that virtually 85 percent of the market is looking after the spending and are concerned about what they put their cash into.

Herbert told investors on Friday “We expect Apple to launch new iPhone in June that offer both a lower total cost of ownership and new functionality, potentially including gesture-based technology.”

Apparently there are also rumours abound that the new iPhone 4G will pack integrated WiFi, an AMOLED touch screen, and an A4 chip clocked at 600MHz, but as I have said these are simply speculations and nothing has been confirmed.

No doubt everyone would love to see a cheaper iPhone with Apple’s next launch, and really to stay ahead of the smartphone rat race, the iPhone 4G would have to pack some sort of new specifications right?

It's the same. The 3GS's CPU is underclocked to 600MHz. So either expect the same, or an improved CPU with the same underclock speed of 600MHz.
