Nokia handset owners can now freely converse over a 3G or WiFi connection via Skype as Nokia has now added Skype for Symbian to their Nokia Ovi Store, and is a free application available for download, reports an article over on engadget.

With Skype for Symbian on your Nokia handset the user can make free Skype to Skype calls anywhere in the world and with over 200 million users across the globe. The user can save cash on SMS’s to handsets overseas, share images, videos and other files.

Basically whatever everyone else who has been using Skype for in the past, Nokia Symbian users can now join in by downloading Skype for Symbian.

Nokia Symbian handsets include numerous devices including the Nokia E72, Nokia N85, Nokia N95, Nokia N97 and N97 Mini and the new Nokia X6, so what are you waiting for Nokia fans, go grab Skype for Symbian and enjoy.
