Skype for Symbian now in Nokia Ovi Store

Nokia handset owners can now freely converse over a 3G or WiFi connection via Skype as Nokia has now added Skype for Symbian to their Nokia Ovi Store, and is a free application available for download, reports an article over on engadget.

With Skype for Symbian on your Nokia handset the user can make free Skype to Skype calls anywhere in the world and with over 200 million users across the globe. The user can save cash on SMS’s to handsets overseas, share images, videos and other files.

Basically whatever everyone else who has been using Skype for in the past, Nokia Symbian users can now join in by downloading Skype for Symbian.
