As you may or may not remember last week Motorola stated that the Android powered Backflip, Dext and also the Quench will be coming to Canada some time soon.

Over at mobilesyrup.com another article follows up this story. The Backflip, Dext and the Quench to be coming to Canada in the first half of 2010. TELUS followed Motorola’s announcement that they will exclusively release the Backflip and Bell announced that they will exclusively sell the Dext.

So we can only assume that this would indicate that Rogers will be releasing the Quench. Although it is only a rumour and speculation at the moment as there has been no official announcement.

Therefore there is no official word on a price yet or even availability but this will be the fourth upcoming Android device that Rogers will release. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, Acer liquid e, Samsung Galaxy Spica and Motorola Quench all available in the next few months. As soon as we hear from Rogers we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
