Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network Speed Tests Revealed

While we all sit here and wait for Verizon Wireless to announce the new iPhone on its network you might want to know that they have just revealed its real 4G network speeds.

Yes Verizon say that its fourth generation long term evolution (LTE) is so much faster than its current 3G networks offered by U.S. carriers, test were carried out in Boston and Seattle and reveals that real-world download speeds were between 5-12Mbps and its upload speeds were around 2-5Mbps.

Well LTE shows that download speeds were at peak of 40 and 50 Mbps with 20 and 25Mbps upload speeds. 25-30 markets will get coverage of the 4G network according to Mobile Burn and it will cover around 100-million users by 2010 end.

Oh just a little question for Verizon “Why did you turn down the iPhone when it first came out?” you know you would have been onto a winner.
