Motorola may launch Windows Phone 7 devices

As we know Motorola have already delivered some devices powered by Google’s Android operating system. And according to a report over on news.softpedia.com it would appear that they are to continue delivering more throughout the year.

Not only that apparently Motorola are going to also provide some feature phones and there are also chances that it may well unveil a handset that will be powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 series before the end of 2010.

The company have reaffirmed its focus on handsets powered by the Android platform during the remainder of 2010. Motorola when asked about the possibilities of other OSes which may be used on future devices such as Windows Phone 7 replied that they are not ruling out any possibilities.

For those that didn’t already know Motorola was a Windows Mobile licensee once, although there are no details on whether it returns to Microsoft’s platform. The possibility that Motorola may indeed launch some handsets powered by Windows Phone 7 OS does exist and don’t forget Microsoft also announced that the first devices powered by the mobile client would be in time for the holiday season.
