Vodafone to launch iPad in UK April

Well according to an article over at mobileblog.mobile it would seem that Vodafone will be launching the iPad last in the list of new gizmos.

The mobile operator have already confirmed that they will be offering the HTC Desire, HTC Legend, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 and also the Google Nexus One.

As you know the Apple iPad was originally expected to pop up somewhere in between March and April but it seems that Apple’s undisclosed problems have led to a little delay of the very much anticipated touch screen tablet.

It was reported some time ago that Apple were having problems with its production lines in China, although the company has yet to give an official announcement on the subject. Some believe that production problems may also be what’s behind the reasoning that the iPad will on be available in its 3G version on the date of the US release. The non 3G version is also expected to come out when the device arrives here in the UK.
