Motorola CLIQ XT Gains Hands-on Treatment

Those lucky guys over at engadget seem to get plenty of mobile phones thrown their want for review and the latest to come their way is the Motorola CLIQ XT smartphone, and of course the guys immediately set about giving the Android handset the hands-on treatment.

They’ve had a little time to play around with the Motorola CLIQ XT and their first impressions are that the Motorola CLIQ XT is slightly thinner than the Motorola Droid and weighs in at 0.28 pounds with a rubbery rear that feels nice in the palm.

The Motorola CLIQ XTT comes with preloaded Swype keyboard which they say is incredibly accurate although it could do with the addition of a ‘.com’ shortcut. Multitouch pinch and zoom is very responsive in both the browser and improved photo gallery.

The Motorola CLIQ XT 5 megapixel camera does a fair job but a tad on the slow side to launch. Using Flash Lite they couldn’t watch a YouTube video in the browser. Overall they do say that the Motorola CLIQ XT has good enough performance but won’t really blow your mind.
