Many of you thought that the high-end smartphones would be getting Android 2.1 only, well think again because not only has HTC confirmed that its cheaper handset the HTC Tattoo will be getting the software.

Not only that the Samsung Galaxy Spica will be getting Android 2.1 as well, you can watch a video below that’s been provided by someone called Transfixit over on YouTube. HTC is integrating the Sense UI with Android 2.1 on the Tattoo handset so see how that goes shall we.

Therefore, these two handsets will be getting an official Android 2.1 update, at the moment there are unofficial versions available apparently. Check out the video below of the Samsung Spica running Android 2.1.
