The eighth Platinum Conference was held this month by Data Select and claimed marketing support for their Platinum Club, since launching in 2007 has passed the £1 million mark, reports an article over on mobilenewscwp.

The Platinum Conference was held as the Welcombe Hotel in Stratford-on-Avon and was attended by over 60 independent retailers and dealers of which included Sprint Communications, Comet, Asda Mobile, A1 Communications, Fonehouse, and Alternative Networks.

The Platinum Club now has a membership of 60, and the Platinum Conference was sponsored by Nokia with support from Motorola, BlackBerry, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and Acer which all made presentations during the event.

Platinum Conferences are held to offer partners updated info along with the opportunity to speak openly and ask questions of guest speakers and Data Select and where dealers can test new devices before said devices see launch.
