Google’s Gesture Search for Android 1.6+

Great news here in relation to Google’s Gesture Search which is for Android as we know it has been around for a while but what’s good is that according to a report over on gsmarena.com it has just been released worldwide.

Up until now it was only available in the US but now it has been released to the UK and to a number more phones it is available for Android version 1.6 and above.

For those of you who are not aware Gesture Search for your Android is a simple and fast way to search and rummage through your applications, contacts, bookmarks and even music tracks that you may have.

All you do in order to make this work is just simply draw a few letters on your screen, usually just two or three will be enough to filter through your items then simply tap the one that you want. It’s not exactly handwriting recognition in the normal way we would think of it but it is quick and simple way to get you what you are looking for.
