HTC handset Supersonic with WiMAX connectivity March 24th

As we all know the Taiwan based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been rumoured for some time now that it is working on a handset that will boast WiMAX connectivity and now thanks to the guys over at news.softpedia.com we have more details.

The device is said to also run on Google’s Android operating system and it also now seems that it may be launched in about a week or so, according to other rumours flying around the internet we can expect that Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse to announce the new device at the CTIA 2010.

The mobile phone device is expected to be the HTC Supersonic and now we have dates of March 24th for when we can expect to see all the specifications when it is officially unveiled to us all in the world.

The mobile phone carrier have already officially announced plans to launch a device which will boast WiMAX connectivity and have even said that this will be before the summer it seems that the HTC Supersonic could well be the device that we’re all waiting to see. It is also supposed to come with dual mode WiMAX and EVDO.
