No More iPhone Screen Protectors in Apple Stores

Apparently Apple stores and Apple online will no longer offer iPhone screen protector film for purchase and includes clear protectors, anti-glare protectors, mirror, privacy or any other type of screen protector reports an article over on ilounge.

Not only does this Apple ban on protective screen films for the iPhone but also bans the same for iPods, Mac computers and iPads, so basically anything Apple.

The reason given by one unnamed vendor is that the ban is a sort of Apple marketing attempt to suggest their products screen durability, despite scratches damaging glass and plastic screen on Apple products for quite a while.

It does seem a strange move when you consider film solutions ranked the number one most popular cases for the iPhone and iPod in Apple’s store and was even the 6th and 7th most popular iPhone and iPod accessory overall.
