Apple iPad App Store live on launch day, like iPhone madness

An interesting article over at telegraph.co.uk in relation to the launch of the Apple iPad Store certainly gives us something to think about.

Apple have already started to accept new iPad apps for approval and of course review ahead of the US launch of the tablet style computer which is on April 3rd.

The iPad app store is set to go live on the same day of the launch and therefore developers interested need to get their apps in by March 27th in order to be in with a chance of being one of the first apps featured on the dedicated iPad app Store.

Most developers haven’t actually seen an iPad which was first unveiled in January yet instead they have had to run their apps on an emulator which simulates the interface of the iPad. It is expected that there will be a gold rush similar to that that happened with the Apple iPhone in 2007 and then of course the iTunes App Store in 2008 which started an App revolution. The question is will the same happen this time round, will we see more madness as the iPad App Store goes live.
