CTIA: Sprint HTC Evo 4G WiMAX Supersonic hands-on, videos

We have mentioned the HTC Supersonic a few times and now it is all out in the open thanks to CTIA, the new phone from Sprint is the new Sprint HTC Evo 4G WiMAX smartphone.

The HTC Supersonic aka HTC EVO 4G will be released this summer of 2010 and is one of the best phones to feature top specs and features, the device will feature 480 x 800 4.3-inch TFT LCD, Snapdragon QSD8650 1GHz processor. 512MB of RAM, 1GB of built-in memory, 8 megapixel camera with flash, 720p video, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera (Just what the new iPhone needs) and 8GB microSD card.

Other features include HDMI out, 802.11b/g WiFi, Android 2.1, this is the best bit; yes 4G, this is Sprints first ever 4G mobile phone that runs combo of EV-DO Rev. A and WiMAX, calls can be made over CDMA and the EV-DO / WiMAX options for data.

It also has the Sprint hotspot app, another MiFi-style connection sharing number, Engadget give a brief hands-on review of the HTC Evo 4G WiMAX Supersonic phone, and they simply say it’s breathtaking.

  1. i think its starting to catch on that the iPhone is no longer the industry standard, while still ridiculously popular and trendy its hardware is slowly slipping to the back of the pack… also Job's ridiculous hate of flash is leaving a key feature off their one phone… we all know HTML5 is the future but were not living in 2014 so what good is it to us?
