Opera have announced that they have expanded the availability of its Opera widgets in order to support almost all mobile phones on the market. A report over at news.softpedia.com states.

Now though according to reports from the company itself it has successfully managed to rebuild its Opera Mobile widgets experience using the same technology as that used on the Opera Mini.

Opera say that the solution now offers wireless carriers and mobile phone makers all around the world the possibility to deliver some exciting web based content and services to their customers regardless of what handset they happen to be using.

Some of the capabilities are that it is based on open web standards, provides instant access to both content and services. Fast development and time to market it drives data consumption amongst other things.
