4G WiMAX Hits 7 More Cities Announces Sprint

Sprint continues the roll out of their 4G WiMAX network to encompass 120 million people by the end of 2010 and thus has announced the addition of another seven US Cities to their ever growing WiMAX coverage list reports an article over on business wire.

These seven additional cities now join the previously announced cities of Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Houston, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco and Washington DC where 4G WiMAX is planned to roll out this year.

The seven new cities now included in the list are…Los Angeles, St Louis, Miami, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

With the 4G WiMAX network going live across the US this year, Sprint has unveiled the first 4G WiMAX smartphone at CTIA 2010 and is called the Sprint HTC EVO 4G smartphone.
