LG take plunge into Android market with LG GW620

It looks like it is LG’s turn now to have a go in the Android market according to an article over at radioandmusic.com

Following the launch of Android handsets from both HTC and Samsung just recently it looks like LG want a piece of the action and why not. They are to launch their new handset the LG GW620.

This lovely device comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard which makes it one of the first few handsets in that area to have a fully fledged hardware QWERTY keyboard in India.

The phone has a TFT screen which is 3 inches and also has a 5 megapixel camera which is also able to record videos with QVGA resolution. It currently runs on Android OS version 1.5 otherwise known as cupcake. LG have incorporated its custom S Class user interface over Android on the GW620. The device is available now in India for Rs 18,990.
