The Danal payment service is already available in South Korea and will now become available via Verizon Wireless in the US and the Big Red will use Danal’s BilltoMobile service to allow Verizon customers to charge online purchases to their Verizon bills.

The new service will require Verizon customers to give their mobile phone number along with their Zip code during purchases and will have a monthly spending limit of $25 along with content and parental controls on accounts.

With the new service, customers will be able to purchase online downloadable content from BilltoMobile partners, which include social networks, virtual worlds and online game publishers.
