For quite a while now there have been rumours hitting the net waves concerning a low end BlackBerry Pearl 9100 smartphone and now thanks to the guys over at engadget, who gained the information courtesy of tech digest we get to see another image and gain some specs.

Apparently the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 spots a SureType keypad rather than the usual QWERTY keyboard and also swaps out the trackball for a trackpad and word has it the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 will also feature 3G connectivity.

Camera wise the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 will pack a 3 megapixel shooter, and apparently is slightly sleeker than previous BlackBerry Pearl smartphones.

Other than that though there’s no more available on the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 and no insight into any timeframe of availability or pricing.
