HTC EVO 4G impressive but needs the coverage

The summer isn’t that far away and one thing is for sure we are all looking forward to seeing the HTC EVO 4G the 4G phone that is to be released by Sprint later on this summer.

The thing is how long will it be before 4G actually has some importance in our lives. There is no denying that the EVO 4G has some specs that are impressive to say the least, it runs on Android 2.1 with HTC’s Sense user interface and has a wonderful 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen.

There is also a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 8 megapixel camera with some other lovely features it already looks like it will certainly beat the Google Nexus One which has just been announced for Sprint’s network.

It’s the potential of getting fast download speeds and to able to browser the internet as fast as if you were on a PC that’s what sets the HTC EVO 4G apart. The serious issue though is that hardly anybody actually has access to 4G coverage in the United States. Source – pcmag.com
