Verizon Push to Talk (PTT) Officially Announced with limited free trial

At last it has been officially announced by Verizon, yes Push to Talk aka PTT will have limited free trial to boot to put a smile on your face.

The new PTT feature will be ready for the BlackBerry Tour on March 30 (Yes tomorrow) thanks to a new press release via CrackBerry, this new service will be available on the date mentioned above and customers will be able to add PTT to their accounts, users can do this by calling customer service.

The features of PTT (Just in case you missed them) include: Initiate and participate in group calls with up to 50 participants, Check colleagues’ availability for a Push to Talk call with the Presence feature, Communicate with one person or a team with the push of a button, Online contact management tool for the entire organization and A single device and phone number for both Push to Talk and voice calls.

Most of the above you may already know, but what is new is the fact they will be offering a limited free trial for customers with qualifying BlackBerry data plans. For more information please read the full press release.
