We would love to know a few things, why is Apple releasing a Verizon iPhone? Makes you wonder doesn’t it. Yesterday we mentioned about a new iPhone for Verizon will be releasing summer 2010.

Ok so a new CDMA Verizon iPhone is coming maybe late 2010 or maybe sometime in 2011, but Apple are releasing it with them for a reason. Could be many reasons and some thoughts has come via Frisky Mongoose.

Is it because Android is becoming very popular indeed or is it the fact the AT&T exclusive deal fell through, Verizon and AT&T are always at each others throats so there is no way AT&T would like Verizon to get their hands on it.

Personally we believe Apple wishes to dominate the market where they can sell through every major carrier, healthy competition is good and what better way to do this than being with all major names like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, Vodafone, Orange etc.
