We all remember back when the first iPhone was launched and the people lining up paying hundreds of dollars for a mobile phone that promised to be better.

Now we have the Apple iPad to look forward to, plenty of people have already parted with $500 or more in some cases for a device that they haven’t even seen.

Apple have kept quiet on the amount of iPads that have already been sold in advance of the debut this Saturday and of course it is difficult to predict how many will be camping out overnight and be there waiting for the Apple store doors to open on Saturday morning.
