Apple, Nokia, Verizon, Sprint, Dell Stock Gains

According to an article over on earth times, Apple, Nokia, Verizon, Sprint and Dell all saw stock gains when actively traded on Monday, with Apple adding 1.08 percent to close at $238.51 on 24.45 million shares after announcing 30,000 iPad’s had been sold on the first day of release in the US.

Nokia also gained 0.19 percent to $15.65 on 10.61 million shares, while last week it was reported that Nokia stated they had won mobile phone deals with distributors in China to the value of over $2 billion, and a spokesperson said that a China PTAC deal is worth over $1 billion while a deal with Telling Telecommunication Holdings Co. Ltd was again worth in excess of $1 billion.

Other stock gains saw Dell Inc adding 1 percent to $15.20 on 18.09 million shares while Sprint gained 0.26 percent to $3.91 on 29.23 million shares.

As for Verizon Communications they added 0.58 percent to $31.46 on 17.68 million shares while Verizon Business expanded their relationship to deliver management Data vault which is a new private cloud service that delivers quick, reliable and secure daily backups and recovery of enterprise info.
